INSIDE ÁINE & GARETH'S WEDDING CELEBRATION AT CHARLIE'S BAR

When people think of weddings, they often picture grand ballrooms and large hotel receptions. But for Áine Mc Manus and Gareth McGrath, the perfect celebration was something a little different - an intimate gathering of family and friends in the heart of Enniskillen.

On Friday 22nd May 2026, we had the privilege of hosting the couple's wedding celebrations, welcoming guests to both our Upstairs Lounge and Lower Lounge for an evening filled with music, laughter and great company.

Following a meal for close family and the bridal party at nearby Tully Mill Restaurant, guests made their way to Charlie's Bar where the celebrations continued into the evening. The evening began with a drink’s reception in the Lower Lounge, accompanied by a selection of finger food from local award-winning restaurant Tully Mill. Family and friends gathered to celebrate the newlyweds, catching up over a drink and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.

Live music from The Blessed Irish Band provided the soundtrack to the early part of the evening, creating a fantastic atmosphere and ensuring there was plenty of singing, dancing and celebration from the outset.

Later in the evening, guests enjoyed freshly made pizzas delivered from Little Wing Pizzeria next door - a popular option for wedding celebrations and group gatherings. As the night continued, Two Degrees took to the stage, keeping the dance floor busy well into the early hours.

What made Áine and Gareth's celebration so special was the atmosphere. Rather than a formal reception, it felt like a gathering of family and friends coming together to celebrate an important milestone in a setting that was personal, relaxed and full of character.

Can we have live music?

Absolutely. Many couples choose live music to help create a relaxed and memorable atmosphere. We are also happy to recommend local musicians, bands and DJs.

Can we organise food?

Food is completely flexible. Some groups opt for finger food or buffets, while others choose freshly made pizzas from Little Wing Pizzeria next door. We have a booklet of recommended local caterers that we're happy to share, but you're also very welcome to use a caterer of your own choice. We're always happy to discuss the options available and help you find what works best for your celebration.

What time should we start?

Every celebration is different. The ideal start time can depend on a number of factors, including your ceremony or reception timings, where guests are travelling from and the type of event you're planning. We're always happy to discuss your plans and help you decide what will work best for you and your guests.

Do you charge room hire?

No. We do not charge room hire for wedding celebrations, Day Two gatherings or private events in our Upstairs Lounge or Lower Lounge.
