Charlies Bar, situated in the heart of the island town of Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland is one of Enniskillen's most established traditional pubs. The bar is named after Charlie Burns, the proprietor's father. The bar has been in the Burns family since 1944, when Charlie plied his trade serving farmers, locals and American troops stationed nearby at Castle Archdale. When Charlie retired, his son Gerry took over the running of the business, which has since undergone a major refurbishment. More recently, Gerry's daughter, Una, has taken on the management of the business.
The bar has a warm, traditional atmosphere, with an open fire and Off-Sales. LIVE sports and racing are covered across the 15 screens, and LIVE music can be enjoyed every Saturday and Sunday evening. We are dog friendly so no need to leave anyone behind!
The Upstairs Lounge is open every Saturday night and is available to hire, free of charge, any other day, depending on availability.
As with all traditional Irish pubs, the staff and locals welcome strangers and visitors as lost friends, and all are encouraged to enjoy a pint or three!
Free Wi-Fi Available.
